After using the 5 tastes of wine tickets, can I buy more taste tickets? Yes, Next to the tasting tents at the Festival is the Wine Store. You will be able to buy more tickets to taste here. What should I bring?
The Festival offers limited seating. Folding chairs are recommended. No coolers or outside foods are allowed. Dogs and pets are also not allowed due to the number of people and food at the festival (Service dogs are an exception to the rule).
Is there food?
The Nebraska Balloon & Wine Festival will offer a variety of great food from Italian to Barbeque Restaurants and food companies throughout the event. This year’s festival includes Prairie Fire wood fired pizza, Lindsey Enterprises, Guaca Maya Mexican, Kebob’s Gyros & Brats, Kona Ice, Boyd & Charlie’s BBQ, Piccolo’s, Maximo’s Cantina, Pacific Rim Noodles, Serendipity Chocolates, Pim’s Thai Catering & Take Out, Lewis Life Preserves and Uncle Ernie’s Barbeque. For an additional $ – enjoy a chance to taste food paired with wine at the Festival’s Food & Wine Experience Sessions. This year’s VIP sessions will be Carrabba’s on Friday and 801 Grill on Saturday.
Children’s things to do?
The Festival will offer more Arts & Crafts in the Marketplace Village as well as a KidZone Area with high flying bungy jumping, pony rides, face painting, inflatable bounce, slide, obstacle course and popular bull ride activities for the kids.
What time do the gates open?
The Nebraska Balloon & Wine Festival will be open 5 PM until 11 PM on Friday, August 7th and Saturday, August 8th gates open at 3 PM until 11 PM .
Is it fairly easy to get parked?
Yes, Parking is offered free at Elkhorn High School where Shuttles will take you to and from and available on other surfaces.
