The R-STYLE BAND is a multi-talented group made up of six members, all originating from the Omaha area. R-STYLE is a conglomerate of two bands that formed back in the 80’s. Former members from the bands E.T.C. and JAM Squad combined in 2002 to form the high-energy, show band today known as R-STYLE.<\/p>\n

The band takes it’s musical flavor from a wide variety of artists such as: The Temptations, Kool and the Gang, James Brown, Earth Wind & Fire, and Prince, just to name a few. R-STYLE prides itself on the ability to be very versatile in their music repertoire, ranging from smooth oldies, including a Motown review, and Classic standards. R-STYLE also includes the latest Top-40 hits to give the band a well-rounded selection in their play list. We have performed at Harrah\u2019s Casino Ameristar & Horseshoe Casino in Council Bluffs, Iowa.<\/p>\n

RHYTHM COLLECTIVE is an award winning band, the recipient of multiple OEA Omaha Entertainment Awards.<\/p>\n

RC performs original reggae and calypso tunes from their two albums. They also performs standard island reggae tunes of Bob Marley and Jimmy Cliff\u2019s and Kitchener and Byron Lee Soca and Calypso party tunes.<\/p>\n

Featuring lead vocalist Lisa Larsen, most recognized by her amazing vocals and of course her\u2026 high heels!
She is all over the stage and in the audience, creating an interactive show that\u2019s charming to watch as well as listen to. Her signature move is to walk out into the crowd and deliver the performance within arms reach, considered nothing less than endearing.<\/p>\n

Lisa was the lead singer for the band HIGH HEEL & THE SNEEKERS, where she toured the region locally in the early 90\u2019s. The Redwoods band is made up of powerful middle school and high school musicians from the Omaha area. A 9-piece band, The Redwoods has a full horn section and keys giving their music a big, full sound on stage.\u00a0 The band formed in 2016 as part of the Blues Society of Omaha\u2019s youth program, BluesEd.\u00a0 Over the years, the musicians have had an impressive record of accomplishments including being recognized as All-State musicians, holding leadership roles in their school bands, participating in MAYJO, being selected for Nebraska Young Lions and receiving awards at local music competitions. They have enjoyed playing at many venues and festivals in the Omaha area including Jazz on the Green, Playing with Fire, Zoofest, Taste of Omaha, Omaha Summer Arts Festival, private events and numerous local bars and lounges.<\/p>\n

The Redwoods play diverse, Blues-infused classic rock, funk, and traditional Blues.<\/p>\n

Us and Them Blues Band has been a part of BluesEd since 2010. They play a broad range of old and new blues and blues-inspired rock, funk, and soul. These talented musicians range from middle to high school age, and they are all very enthusiastic about keeping the blues alive!<\/p>\n

The band is well known and popular in the Omaha metropolitan area and has performed at local festivals, venues and benefits such as Playing with Fire, Jazz on the Green, In the Market for Blues, B Bar, Rathskeller Bierhaus and Rally for Responders among others.\u00a0 The band has many accomplished musicians who perform in all-state choir and jazz band, show choir and marching band across Omaha.<\/p>\n
