Omaha Bike RidE

8th Annual – Midwest Gran Fondo with the Ft. Atkinson Route, There will also be the 8th AnnualOmaha Biathlon (a bike-run event) and        5K Run (timed run event).

Online Orders will be taken Until 12:00 PM – Friday, May 29th. You may still Late Register at the Event.

Sunday, May 31, 2020  – The Bike Ride (Rain or Shine the Event will go on)
Start / Finish Line – Elmwood Park, 67th & Pacific Entrance, Omaha, NE
All riders start at the same time.

All events – 9, 15, and 43 mile rides
– 8:00 – 9:00 am Registration and Late Registration
– 9:00 am Start
Three routes to choose from and something for everyone. An approx. 9 mile route, 15 mile route, and a 43 mile route.
9 mile – Route
This short morning ride beckons you with its beauty. On the extremely flat and scenic route, riders take the Keystone Trail and head north, then turn around and return to Elmwood Park.
15 mile – Route 

Amid beautiful scenery, cyclists will ride a beatiful, flat route and head to the Keystone Trail.  Then head north and hit the Democracy Park.  Turn around and then head back on an easy course to Elmdood Park – the start and finish area.
43 miles – Route – Fort Atkinson Route
The longest, most challenging tour features creek and calm scenery, beautiful ride north through rolling hills, and a at stop at the first military fort established on the Missouri River, Ft. Atkinson.   Ft. Atkinson is the turn around and then one travels through the historic city of Ft. Calhoun. The course returns on the Omaha Trace Road to 72nd St and then back through the Kaystone Trail to the start and finish area at Elmwood Park.

After the bike ride all riders check in to pick up your special gift.

43 miles – Route – Fort Atkinson Route
The longest, most challenging tour features creek and calm scenery, beautiful ride north through rolling hills, and a at stop at the first military fort established on the Missouri River, Ft. Atkinson.   Ft. Atkinson is the turn around and then one travels through the historic city of Ft. Calhoun. The route starts in Elmwood Park and is a flat, easy course.  Out 1.5 miles in the park and then back.
